The Legal Decision Lab studies how people make choices and judgments within the legal system. We focus on the psychological factors that shape decisions by defendants, attorneys, and other legal participants, especially in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) settings like mediation, arbitration, and plea bargaining, as well as how the public views the legal system in criminal, civil, and family law contexts.​​
